Border Patrology

The Deparment of Homeland Security wants to know if I am "mission focused." If I was, I surely would not be reading their banner at the top of a message board where 80 different people have given their opinions of the meaning behind:

I just realized.

That I keep a kaleidoscope on my desk (for the dark times).

The End of an Era: Yet Another Apple Victory

Early this morning I made the difficult decision to cut my ties with MusicMatch. In its heyday, I believe this program was more powerful, more effecient, and more user friendly than the near-universally accepted iTunes. However, due to its takeover by Yahoo! in August 2007, MusicMatch has slowly become more and more obsolete. Without the grace of periodic software updates, bugs present in its final version continue to be persistant and annoying.

Thus, it is with much hesitation that I click the "Make iTunes My Default Application for .mp3 files" box.

R.I.P. MusicMatch

You will be missed.

Trent

I know many people have many opinions on many things.  I also know that Wilco is great.  Anyone who says something to the contrary may in fact have no soul.  Or if that person suggests that souls do not exist, then I may suggest that that person indeed may have no heart.  I don't mean like, "He sure has a lot of heart," I literally mean that the person in question may not have the vital organ we all hang onto while hanging onto this thing called life.

How do I work this?

These are not my beautiful words, this is not my beautiful house, this is not my beautiful wife:

Well you're in your little room
and you're working on something good
but if it's really good
you're gonna need a bigger room
and when you're in the bigger room
you might not know what to do
you might have to think of
how you got started in your little room

Where the fuck did my little room go?
